Yeong Ja Jung: Women & Nature, 1998

Among Yeong Ja Jung's exquisite works, "Women & Nature" focuses on the woman's symbiosis with nature. Contrary to her peers, Jung explores such relationship via sensual fabrics, her curves and the natural flow of the fabric against various natural settings. She explores concepts such as the woman's relation to life and death. Creating a revolution within the feminist revolution itself, Jung calls for a return to appreciating the fundamental aesthetics of the natural woman such as celebrating the woman for being a wife, mother and daughter.
